This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from sites in Rutherford and Carneros. Native yeast fermentation, aged 18 months in 50% new French oak, only the best free-run juice is bottled, unlined and unfiltered. A beautifully classic Cabernet nose of ripe blackberry fruit, graphite, and cedarwood with cacao nib nuances. With some aeration that, Rutherford mineral dust emerges, giving the wine lift, and it carries through on the medium to full-bodied palate where satin-textured tannins frame a robust Napa Cabernet, with succulent dark-toned fruit, tobacco, earth, and long, spicy finish.
